Chef Tomeu Martí has found his place in the world by defining his own characteristic style. The experience gained during more than 13 years of experience at Arume Tomeu Martí, his first restaurant, together with his trips, during which he has discovered numerous gastronomic cultures, have enabled the chef to unite his two essences: the Mediterranean and Asian ones with delicacy and originality, being able to open 2 new restaurants in Palma, Arume Sushi Bar & Dim Sum y Arume Sake Bar.
Our proposal sought to define a communication strategy capable of differentiating a brand in a very atomized market representing a gastronomic concept with a strong personality, but with 3 restaurants totally different among them.
The first step was to design a new website which should transmit the essence of Tomeu Martí and its gastronomic proposal along with the personality of each of the restaurants.
The website project for Arume has been awarded with Honors by the prestigious awwwards.
At the same time, we have defined the way each restaurant talks, their unique style, how the potential client should feel when interacting with the brand in the online environment. By having 3 restaurants so different but united by a common gastronomic proposal, we wanted to work on a specific visual narrative for each of them based on their location and personality.
The first one is Arume Tomeu Martí, the place where chef Tomeu Martí expresses himself with total freedom. It is an elegant restaurant located in Palma’s city centre, with a big kitchen visible to diners and a long bar surrounding it, from where diners can see the chef and his team working with extreme care on all dishes. All his dishes are a small work of art where all details are looked after with care, even if that detail goes almost unperceived by the diner in front of whom Tomeu places dishes that are very simple and light from a visual point of view.
The second one is Arume Sushi Bar & Dim Sum, a sushi bar located in the Santa Catalina Marketsushi bar in the heart of Santa Catalina market enjoying a piece of Arume in a casual and fun atmosphere surrounded by the market’s classic fish stalls.
Arume Sake Bar has been the last opening. It is the first Sake Bar in Palma, in the neighbourhood of Santa Catalina, and is inspired by Japanese taverns. This unique restaurant offers the possibility of enjoying a wide variety of sakes paired with a selection of dishes in the purest Arume’s style.
